Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Kent Young—educator, tech specialist, and the hands-on heart behind Bayside Tech Solutions.
I’ve spent years helping schools, students, and families navigate the intersection of education and technology. As a former classroom teacher and school CIO, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming tech can feel—especially for smaller schools without a full IT team. That’s why I started BTS: to give schools like yours the kind of support I always wished was available.
I believe in practical solutions, approachable tech, and building systems that actually work for the people using them. Whether I’m helping a micro school streamline its devices or launching a project-based learning initiative, my goal is always the same: empower educators, support students, and make tech feel human again.

Tech Support That Understands Education
Bayside Tech Solutions was built on the belief that technology should support learning—not get in the way of it. We specialize in helping micro schools, homeschool networks, and small organizations thrive through smart, approachable tech support, device and network management, and digital strategy.
Who We Are:
Intro:
We’re not just IT folks. We’re educators, problem-solvers, and partners in your mission. Led by Kent Young, an experienced EdTech specialist and former school CIO, BTS blends hands-on experience with a deep understanding of what today’s classrooms and learning communities actually need. We know the difference between “nice to have” and “need to run by Monday morning.”
What We Do:
Tech Integration & Support – From troubleshooting to training, we make tech feel less overwhelming and more useful.
Device & Network Management – We manage iPads, Chromebooks, WiFi, and more to keep things running smoothly.
Digital Marketing for Schools – Need help with social media, newsletters, or your school website? We’ve got you.
Project-Based Learning Support – We help schools build student entrepreneurship, STEM, and leadership programs backed by the right tools.
Technology is no longer optional in education—it’s essential. But too often, small schools and homeschool communities are left without reliable support. That’s where we come in. BTS is here to help you use technology with confidence, clarity, and a sense of calm.
